I’m giving Rob another chance. He has come out and told me he’s crazy about me, loves me and really regrets what he did. He didn’t do anything bad like cheat on me.. (for people who haven’t kept up) - basically he didn’t treat me as he should (no abuse or anything). I do still have feelings for him, I wouldn’t have him back if I didn’t. So we’re going to take it slow and I’m going to keep my girl times with my friends because I’m loving them!
I was talking to my mum about it and I think she’d be the harshest towards it (if you know her well.. you’ll know what I mean ;)) but she was very helpful with it all :).

Well on Sunday Rob took me to the Kumeu Show. New Zealand is seen as a farm-type place.. but to be honest I don’t see farm animals on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis!! So I took some photos:

Today I received my invitation to Zarrin’s wedding! It’s on April 15th. It’s just a quiet one, with the ceremony in a church and an afternoon tea afterwards. I wonder if she’s nervous?! hehe. I’m happy for her though!

Oh today, I got asked to help out in a Uni lecture for an example. My friend Sam and I had to go down the front of the lecture theatre infront of 300 students for a practical experiment in Organisation and Management showing how people would work with rewards etc… The rewards? We got to shake our lecturer’s hand (he’s the young, cute one in a band!) and we got a pack of M&M’s each!! hehe

Isn’t it gorgeous? I love the architecture.. looks almost Mediterranean! Sorry I realise the buildings look like they’re on a slight angle - I promise they’re not. That’s just my bad photography.. trying to rush because people were looking at me weird for taking photos of the buildings.. haha!

Last night I went and saw Crash with Rob. The movie was pretty good I admit, it earned it’s Oscar! So many great stars in it too.

Oh Nicki, because you seem to be a regular now and I hope you stay that way… when you coming back to visit??? We all miss you lots!! You must have heard the exciting news about Zarrin getting married?! It’s going to be a low-key wedding, hopefully it’s when you’re back to visit!

Wahoo! I bought a new book just published by Marion Keyes yesterday! I can’t wait to read it.. but I still have three other books ahead of it, I may have to jump it up the que though I’ve been waiting for her to write a new one for SO long!! It’s called Anybody out there?. The main character in this one is called Anna Walshe and I’m pretty sure she’s going to end up being the sister of Maggie Walshe from her book Angels. As she has done that with other books.. all siblings joined somehow.

Well I have hardly been on the ‘net lately. I’ve been watching lots of SkyTV, because it will be gone on Wednesday (8th) - because I can’t afford it anymore on part time pay! lol. Plus.. I don’t know.. just can’t be bothered.. I always have times like this.. lol.

I went and saw Date Movie on Friday night with Rob and Allie. Have to admit, parts were funny… but.. hmm.. some were just too stupid for words! I wouldn’t say it’s a favourite at all.. but a nice light one.

Saturday I went to the ODI (cricket) game; NZ vs West Indies. We lost. But it was quite fun… the guys were annoyed they were only serving light beer - after all the problems they had with drunken people last time the game was held in Auckland. So it wasn’t as fun as it could have been.
After the game I felt buggered and had an early night at about 10.30pm.

Yesterday I went to the Cultural Festival in Mt Eden with Jo. I tried some Kurdish, Greek and Afghanistanie food. They were all lovely.. :yum: I was expecting the Afghanistanie food to be disgusting, but I was wrong! It was delish.
After that we did a bit of shopping - and I bought my book. Then in the afternoon I kept reading my current book so I could get on to my new Marion one
I had another early night.. after watching Shark tale on Sky - so cute!
I’m not sure what’s wrong with me.. but I’m feeling tired lots.. maybe it’s the weather change. Who knows..

Well I start Uni today at 12, so need to go blow dry my hair and hang my sheets out to dry.

So this week, so far, has been awesome!! The worst bits have been coming back to work.. lol.
Monday I had a nice short day; 12-3pm. A Business Statistics lecture, where we jsut heard about what we are going to be learning this semester. Then a Principles of Microeconomics lecture, where we heard the same stuff and then learnt some of the course.
Tuesday was even shorter; 9-11am! Just an Introduction of Organisations and Mangement lecture!
Wednesday was similar; 10-11am - Business Statistics lecture. Then started work at about 11:30am until 6pm!
Today I have a full day of work 8am - 5 or 6pm. Haven’t decided yet, I guess it depends how much work. Probably 5pm. No Uni at all today
Tomorrow I have a similar day to Wednesday, a Business Statistics lecture in the morning and work in the afternoon.
Of course.. it’s all going to get busier than that! Because I have about four hours a week of tutorials and workshops - so they will be added into my days and it wont seem like I do nothing! haha.

I don’t know what it is… but it just seems so nice and relaxed at Uni.. so many things happening.. so many nice people.. ahh it’s great! Best decision I’ve ever made!

I’ve met quite a few lovely people already! One girl that I seem to sit with all the time and talk to is Sam, she’s lovely, from Palmerston North up here flatting, doing the same degree as me.

So, so far I’m loving it! We do have an assignment due on March 22nd. Which is kinda scary.. because we haven’t received it yet! lol. But I like how they tell us the due dates way ahead of time

I played tennis last night, I originally didn’t want to.. by time I got home at 6pm I couldn’t be bothered.. but I went - and I’m glad I did!
