Is it a gene? Or maybe I have the lazy gene? But no not really.. I’d rather go buy vegetables (for mum) or vacuum the house than start this damn 1500 word essay for Intro to Organisations and Management!! I’ve been putting it off for DAYS now! It’s not due for another couple of weeks.. but I know those weeks will go so fast! Plus I’ll be working fulltime next week - so not much time, but I DO need the money.
I am happy with the working fulltime bit, as I’ll be getting paid my ‘contract’ hourly rate. And I calulated it and I’ll end up with just about how much I used to earn a fortnight as a fulltime employee even though I’ll only be working six days instead of ten!! So I’m chuffed
lol.
I’m really hoping they have lots of work for me!! I don’t want the day to be slow and boring. I also found out I’ll be the receptionist on Monday as our normal receptionist and the girl who would normally fill in for her are both having the day off. I’m not going ANYWHERE near the filing - I hate it - that’s why I moved up from receptionist to an accountant. But I’ll answer the phone, make morning tea etc. and just do my accounting work at her desk! It’s nice for a change!
It’s Rob’s birthday tomorrow!! He’ll be 22! lol.. Old… 22 sounds like a REAL grown up. I’ll be 22 in two months
lol. I have no idea what to get him and I asked him and he said he doesn’t want anything! Grrr. Myabe I’ll just get him a chocolate bar then? lol.
OH - my scarf, remember I said I’d keep you all up-to-date in this post? Well that was 18 days ago. So here’s what my scarf looks like today.

So I’ve nearly finished one ball of wool! lol. Only four to go after this one!
Well it’s nearly 11am now.. so I should really go have a shower and get dressed. I suppose I could write a list of facts etc about what to stick in this damn essay - that doesn’t sound too scary! hehe ![]()

Hehe, procrastination, I know all about it! Although I still prefer working on my essay over vacuum cleaning, haha. I hate that chore, I really do.
Lol, I’ll be 22 in 4 months too. It’s not that old! My fiancé just turned 25, now that’s a lot older
j/k

omg…I can so totally relate to you! Right now should be working on the three end of the semester papers that are due in a few days. I haven’t started any of them! Plus I should really get cracking on my article for ML. Ugh. But I just want to sit here on my lazy ass surfing the web. lol.

Heh that’s awesome you’ll be getting paid as much as you did without working. Good luck with it, although I don’t know why you’d want to be an accountant, but to each their own. That’s one thing different about our countries, you drink tea. It seems like the only thing people drink here is coffee at work, maybe tea makes you nicer and thats why Europe and Australia drinks it.

It would be great if there was a procrastination gene, that way people couldn’t say “you’re just being lazy” ya know? ‘Cause it’s not lazyness, it’s avoidance. Yeah though, that essay doesn’t sound fun at all. *moral support*
Your scarf looks spiffy - I wish I had the patience to do something like that. I like the color lots and lots!

Wow, Bron, the site looks absolutely amazing =) And so does that scarf!
Oy vey, procrastination
I’ve had my fair share of nerve-wracking, procrastination-induced stress. Just take it slow, one day at a time, and make sure you work on it little by little.

Oh pretty layout! I love those colors in the scarf. Maybe knitting with it is easier than crocheting with that type of yarn. Have you ever heard of Craftster.org?
