Yesterday morning when I got up at 6.45am (damn Thursday’s, my earliest day of the week!!!) it was cold and there was fog everywhere!! By the time I left for work the fog had got lower and was all around!! So I took a photo:

I can promise you I have not done any manipulation to this photo at all - it really did look that depressing!
I think there was a patch of blue sky and sun for about half an hour, but nothing since then. It’s much the same today, grey and darker than normal.
Last night when I got home from work, about 5:45pm we had no power! Some dimwit down the street had put a fence on his front lawn and drilled to low and cut out half the streets power!! Luckily there was no TV to be watched last night. So my mum, my youngest sister - Maddie and I played scrabble and ate Domino’s in candlelight. lol. It was actually quite fun, we had fun talking and playing the game. I guess in this fast paced world, hardly anyone ever stops and chats for more than an hour - but we had no power from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, five hours!! I recommend people turn the lights off and do that every once in awhile ;).
Had my Microeconomics test on Wednesday - very happy to have it over. I’m finding that the hardest subject so far. It was at 6:30pm! Meanies.. but not so bad. I dropped my friend Sam home afterwards, she’s staying in Campus housing, as she’s from Wanganui. The places are very spacious - I was quite shocked!!
Oh! Excitement. I’m now a writer over at TalkingSnack.com. Check it out. It’s a website about cooking and recipes. We cook something and take photos and tell people the recipes incase they want to replicate it! Heather is the owner and was lovely enough to let me be a writer there too!
Well no work for me today, because there still isn’t much. I worked a full day yesterday and half a day on Wednesday - so I’ll still get some money. Plus I’m babysitting tonight! Yay. Quick easy cash. So just one lecture today at 11:00am, Business Statistics - my favourite subject this semester. So maybe I’ll clean my room when I get home? Oooh, I’ll get to watch Oprah
hehehe.
Oh, excellent news, McLeod’s Daughters (my favouritest show!!) is starting again this month!! Wahoo!
Edit - Two hours later.
Ok.. my bad, it’s Summer again! Typical Auckland.
