What ever happened to that scarf Bron was knitting?

Yes.. you may be wondering that exact question! Well maybe not, because I’m sure you all have your own busy lives!! The last time I talked about it was April 19th.
Here’s a photo:

This is not the scarf I ‘attempted’ to knit. I bought one. I tried to knit it honest!!! But somehow, I started with 30 stitches in width and by the time I was onto my second ball of wall I had 74 stitches. Now how the hell did that happen?! I more than doubled it’s width!! No wonder it was taking me forever. So yes.. I gave up when I had to unravel it AGAIN to start AGAIN. I decided I couldn’t be bothered. lol. Plus.. at that rate I would have it finished by summer!!

So I went shopping one day and noticed this one It’s gorgeous.. and so much nicer than my one was going to be. It was only $27NZD. The wool for my one I was going to make was $12, so yeah, I’ve learnt my lesson. Just buy one.

I tried to learn to knit. I went out and got the starter kit and books and a bunch of junk to go along. It was too hard. Then I thought crocheting is easier, so I did the same. It was just harder to follow, so I buy my stuff in the store too! I’d love to know how to knit and crochet because I could make a whole bunch of neat things for sydney…..sigh.

Oh, knitting :blah: As much as I love that hobby, it’s quite time-consuming, and such a pain when you realized you’ve made too many stitches from the time you started. Anyway, it takes a lot more patience than I care to exercise

I’m sorry to hear the scarf didn’t work out for you. I’ve always made the attempt to knit but it never worked out well for me. The one you bought is really cool though, have fun with it.

Heh that scarf looks like the one you were trying to make, but with more toned down colors. You could have just said you were making an afghan or a blanket and make it really big instead of unraveling it lol.
