I just got back from a get together with everyone at Zarrin and her husband, Kim’s, new flat. Very cute place and hopefully they’ll have fun their together
We played games, gossiped and ate food. Always a fun combination. We each decided we’d bring a plate. Jo and I went back and forward a few times via text getting totally confused on what we were bringing. I finally settled on mini quiches and Jo on samosa’s (and she bought a few other things).
Because I can now use my camera and the quiches turned out beautifully I thought I’d add a photo!
Yummy huh?
I made an extra 12 or so for my family… as I had heaps to take to Zarrin’s. I couldn’t believe it when I got home to find three left! Between the 3, maybe 4, of them they had eaten most of them in one day! I’m so glad I set the ones I was taking to one side so no-one ate them!! At least I know they were a hit I guess. Better make some more one day soon.
I posted the recipe I used over at Talking Snack.
I’ve also got back into my healthy eating and made a deliciously awesome salad yesterday. It looked so good I had to snap it for eternity. The stuff ontop is feta cheese.. mmm.. and carrots!! I love carrots in salad, they fill you up so much. I actually looked forward to eating this. I know the feta isn’t that healthy, but it’s better than cheddar cheese or bread.
Today for lunch I had sushi. Sorry no photo. I tried my first peice of eel on sushi :yuk: . I didn’t like it! lol. The other sushi peices were nice and at least I can say I’ve tried it.
Well off to bed for me now… I don’t feel tired and it’s 2am!! What’s wrong with me?!!? Maybe it’s because I just got home and Rob’s not back from his do yet, so he’s bound to come in as I’m drifting off to sleep and wake me up! :plain:

I never liked sushi, not even the fishless kind, but it’s cool that you’re trying to eat healthy. So wait you and Rob are living together? When did this happen?
