Well life has been nuts. I feel like I live at my new retail job now. I seem to be there everyday! My next day off is Friday, I really can’t wait until that comes around. At least I’m earning time and a half today and tomorrow. It makes it worth it.
I feel so tired after a day at this retail job, I never thought it would make me tired like it has… it’s amazing how hard it is to be smiley to customers for eight hours in a row.
They’ve basically employed me full time over the summer holidays, so I still have lots of retail slagging hours to go.

I’m hoping in a week or two I can go stay with dad in Whangamata. He has rented a bach up there again this January. It’d be a lovely break. My only problem is that I’m only getting two days off at a time, so I’d need to leave after work one night, go for two days and drive back on the second day. Luckily it’s only two hours away. I haven’t been for a swim yet this summer, so it’d be lovely to hit the beach with a book and have a few swims.

It’s my friends birthday on the 4th so she’s going to have a group of us over for drinks and dinner in a couple of weekends. Hopefully it doesn’t colide with my mini-holiday!
