These weeks seem to be flying by in a blur. I’m either at my accounting job, my retail job or both! Yes Thursday’s are the most painful day of the week, I start at 8am at the accounting job, then at 5pm I’m off to the retail job ’til 9pm, as it’s late night. So currently I’m working 6.5 days a week. Everyone says “think of the money!!” Hmmm.. yes I do, but after doing this for three weeks in a row now, I don’t feel I’m getting enough. Bring on Uni!!! Then I can relax.
I’ve also been the only active accountant at work these three weeks, as my boss said; I’m doing three peoples’ work! Hmm fun. Most of the staff are still on holiday. They’re due back on Wednesday though, so I can slow down on my production. Haha. Just kidding
.
Rob has started his new job today, yes, the pee-in-a-cup-while-the- woman-is-watching-job! He’s been texting me a few times and seems to be enjoying it. The company has basically outlined that he’ll be working longer hours in Summer and less in Winter. Which will be nice for him, he can stay home and be cosy on those wet, windy, horrible Winter days while the rest of us have to face it.
OMG.. I have told just about everyone I know of my new love. Nando’s chicken salad. I’ve even told my friend, Charissa, a few times and she had to point that out sternly. “Bron. You’ve told me.” I’m sorry Charissa! I just loooooove them. They are my new takeaway food, who needs a burger?!
I seem to have an issue with telling stories. Rob says I have a big mouth because I can’t hold secrets or exciting stories in! I have to tell people. But then I end up telling everyone several times. So maybe it’s true? I guess it’s just me. That’s why I blog.. I love to share stories. Isn’t that an idea of a blog? To talk about yourself and the people around you?

Everyone raves about Nandos but I’ve still never tried it. Do you have Oporto in NZ? Now THAT is amazing. Bondi burger with chilli - its fresh grilled chicken and my mouth is already watering.
I really struggle to understand what university means. Some people have to read masses of words every night, others say its a party - you’re telling me it’s a place to relax! Haha, I really don’t know what to expect!
Ah, he got the pee-in-a-cup job! You’d want to hope so after going through that stuff…
I love reading your stories!

How humiliating - my first comment didn’t post because I didn’t pass the Anti-Spam equation.
But yeah, I don’t know much about you at all (although those pictures from a 2 posts ago give me some idea haha) or we’re you’re from, but if you have an Oporto nearby, it’ll absolutely wipe your Nando’s off the radar.
No-one ever turns back.
And I read that old post about the piss-test. I think I’m with him, I don’t think I could odd it in front of someone else, it’s just too weird!

I dont know what to tell you other than what everyone else says.
THINK OF THE MONEY.
Seriously. All that stress HAS to be worth it for the $$.
Hahaha.
Was it worth peeing in a cup in public for the job, though?
Seriously; it would take a lot of bribery for me to do that.
Eugh, i wouldn’t be able to handle people around me while i pee.
I hate you. You made me crave chicken salad.
I havent heard of a Nando’s before. I dont think we have one anywhere around my area. =(

Kenny can completely understand how you feel with working two jobs on an almost daily basis. Though he does make great money delivering pizzas. Depending on the night he makes anywhere from $10 to $15 an hour.
Congrats to Rob on his new job! I love to tell stories too, but I’m always conflicted on how much to tell, or sometimes ramble in my case lol, on my blog.

Way to go on working so much I guess. Looks like you’re fairly happy with everything. Just reading this made me feel like a lazy slug.
