I'm doing the book challenge too! Whats your book about? I'm always up for suggestions too! As a recommendation, I would say "Essays in Love" by Alain de Botton, It's about relationships and analyses one between this couple from the moment theyy meet right up to the end. Its' really insightful I loved it, couldnt put it down!

Hmmm, I could probably recommend about fifty million books, but currently at the top would be...let's see...definitely Blindness by Jose Saramago, it's fairly dark (haha, pun), but insightful and such (I'm bad at describing books). Also, I'd recommend The Nanny Diaries as a fun read. Descriptions will make it seem chick-lit-y, but I'm not much of a fan of girly books but I loved it anyway.

You're doing alright in the book challenge then! it sounds like you're interested in it enough to finish it in a night!! I don't think I could read 12 books in a year. I'm too slack...

Recommendation: The Day After Tomorrow by Allan Folsom, it's got nothing to do with John Marsden.. or Jake Gyllenhall. Everything thinks its one or the other, but I loved that book.
