I was distraut when I found that my most loved pair of jeans had a hole in them! You know when you find a pair of jeans that make you look good? And they look dressy enough to wear out to dressier events with a nice top? These were mine. But alas they now have an unfixable hole, yes right in the crotch region. I tried sewing them back up, but it doesn’t last long.
Luckily we are going into the summer seasons so it’s not such a need to have jeans. I still may have to buy another pair as we still have cold nights. Yay! An excuse to go shopping. I hope I can find another pair that look good. They weren’t an expensive or labeled pair, they just seem to sit right.
In other news; I cooked dinner tonight. I made crumbed chicken with risotto and salad. It was very yum and it looked great too, so I took some photos.
I put garlic, parsley and bread crumbs into a food processor and processed them up for my chicken crumbing. Then coated the chicken breasts and put them in the electric fry pan to cook.
I made my risotto with arborio rice, chicken stock, onion, garlic, tuscan seasoning and a teaspoon of sesame oil. Once all cooked I stirred through some shaved parmesan cheese.
I made a salad to go with it to complete the meal. It turned out wonderfully and delish!

I always have that. It always happens to my favourite jeans. Holes - in the crotch region, of course.
You always seem to make very tasty-looking (and it’s probably tasty, too!) food! Do you like cooking? I really enjoy it but I should do it more, really (I still live at home so my mum usually prepares my dinner). I tried your last recipe, it was very tasty. Where do you find all those recipes? Online, in a cook book, or do you improvise?

I still live at home.. but because I’m 23 and my sisters are 21 & 17, we’ve all been given a night to cook. Just pick a night & tell your mum you’ll cook!
Yes I do love to cook, when I haven’t had a long day & am not tired, then I really enjoy it. Especially when I’m trying something new. This last recipe I just made up.. cooking is different to baking; baking you need to be a bit more exact with ingredients. But with cooking you just put flavours that you like together with what ever food you have at the time.
Which was my other recipe that you tried? Did it turn out good?
