During my commute this morning I encountered a slightly unusual, slightly scary, mid-thirties man. I first saw him when sitting at a set of traffic lights. It was a double lane road, so he was parked up next to me. I looked over and he looked at me and nodded, so I smiled feeling polite. Bad choice.
Next thing I know he’s in the lane behind me, following? or just happens to work near me?
At the next set of lights he’s parked behind me. I try and look everywhere but in my rear-view mirror so he realises I’m not bothered or interested in talking or looking at him. But who can resist? So I look. Dumb mistake. As soon as my eyes connect with my rear-view mirror; he waves at me.
Oh. My. God.
Now I’m a tad worried because he’s obviously watching my head move and trying to get into my line of sight. The light goes green and I speed off not looking back.
Sure, I’m sounding a tad pedantic, but really scary things seem to be happening all over the world these days, even in my little safe haven of New Zealand.
Luckily, as I turn down the road that my work is on, he carries on straight through. Whew. Didn’t want to have to punch him, would have hurt my hand and put a damper on my Friday. (Hehe… yeah right, Bron!)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!! xx
