My week to come, according to Astrology.com.

Subtle powers of persuasion will get you a lot further on Monday than getting all righteous about getting your way. Let ‘em think they thought of it themselves! Over the next couple of days, though, your own thoughts and feelings may be hazy. Things are in flux now, and you may not really get the clues you need until sometime on Thursday. Change is inevitable, especially now and through the weekend — good thing you’re thinking it through, guiding it and very likely loving every minute of it! P.S.: Don’t work on Sunday if you can play!
I’m normally not one for horoscopes, but I saw Miss Em’s post and thought I’d test it out. If anything slightly relatable to my horoscope happens this week, I shall let you know.
I have come to realise that I have no money. How? I have no idea. Maybe it’s all my recent shopping and social outings. That’s a maybe.
Life has got far too expensive for everyone in the last few months. So now I’m going to cut my spending back even more, because if I ever want to make it overseas I’m going to have to change my lifestyle.
Like most people, my most expensive items are firstly; my car, and secondly; rent. Most fortnights (how often I get paid) I do earn more than enough to cover those costs and have a decent amount left over. Yet somehow that extra amount fizzles out of my bank account without me noticing. So, from next pay day, which is sadly still a whole week away, I will be writing down absolutely every dollar I spend. I have an automatic payment set up to go straight to my savings account once I get paid. But with all this fantastic technology we have, it’s very easy to log into my internet banking and transfer that amount back.
I’m actually thinking of tricking myself by setting up a savings account at another bank. One without internet banking, that I can’t log into daily and see how much is there. Just one that sends me statements every few months. Hmm definitely an idea!
In fact, I’m off to the bank, a new bank, this afternoon to set up a concrete blocked, lead doored account that I can’t touch.
Will let you know how much I can save in a year, in a year’s time… so bare with me!
