Calling cards
31.03.08

We have a lot of family overseas in England, Australia and even just at the bottom of the North Island of New Zealand, which is considered a toll call.
The Rich Comm have calling cards for all other the world at really reasonable prices. Much cheaper than if you called through your phone provider and paid the bill at the end of the month.
There are calling cards available for over 800 countries. There are lots of cards available for me to be able to ring the United Kingdom and I can pre-pay as much as I’d like to spend. This would be perfect for my mum and dad to call me when I go to the UK next year. So cheap for them to be able to get in touch with me and annoy me constantly, I’m sure!

I wish!
11.12.07

While visiting Cheaper than Therapy I read a post Ali had written about the stats of her website. I was intrigued to find what people had googled to find her website as a result. So I emailed her for advice on which stats plugin to use, so I too could find what linked people to my website.
My answer:

Stats

I wish I looked like Scarlett Johansson!! I’m sure my boyfriend does too! No idea how that lead to my website, but I’ll take it!

Paid the bill!
04.12.07

I had a small glitch and my site went down. I knew my domain name and hosting were up for renewal so was waiting for the amount to be debited from my credit card. But nothing happened. The next day I go to my website to find one of those ugly ad pages you seen when the website no longer exists! Ahh time to freak out!
I’m then racking my brains as to why the domain went down and my credit card balance is unchanged. I go through my paypal account with a fine-toothed-comb to find my issue, but still nothing.

I wake up this morning and realise my old credit card has expired and I have been issued with a new one!! Relief. Into paypal again to update the credit card details and I’m back! Big sigh of relief.

I know..
25.10.07

Yes, I was due for a weigh-in post on Tuesday and I didn’t do it. I had a bad weekend. The wedding food, lunch in Matakana and Rob and I had a takeaway on Saturday night. So yes, not good at all. I gained a kilo.

I’m back on track now. Getting back to writing down my daily food.

Next Tuesday will be good!

A radio DJ here in New Zealand is currently on Jenny Craig and she’s doing well. I love reading her diary as it’s inspiration to keep going! I can’t wait until my clothes don’t fit me (like in her previous post). Check her out.

Also, check out stuff you didn’t know. A big list of trivia facts. I knew some.

Spammers
05.10.07

My site has been down the last two days because I got hit with a mad amount of spam. It filled up my webmail account (over 1200 emails) so of course it over-filled my disk space usage, so my site wouldn’t show up.
I also had 39 comments in moderation, sadly all spam (I’m not that popular).
I’m now off on a hunt for a wordpress plugin to stop my comment spamming issue. If you can recommend any, please let me know. :)

You may note in my photo’s above I have a photo of me in a bra. I have not suddenly decided to show off my personal parts of my body. The photo was taken for the annual Boobie-Thon for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Go submit yours or donate!

I also took a picture of the Auckland Skytower last night as it is pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I will post a better entry later, this one is dull. Except that it includes boobs.

Vox.
31.08.06

I love Vox now. I love how simple and easy it is to use. It’s very newbie friendly. Not that I’m a newbie, but I’m just saying.
Anywho, I have four vox invites. First in, first served.

Pluggage.

Yes, I tripled the photos.
23.08.06

You may have noticed I have now made it three random photos above, rather than just the one I used to have. Basically I’ve done this because I love viewing photos of family, friends and good times! :) It shouldn’t annoy people, it’s the same as having a massive banner of a celebrity who I don’t personally know. I’d rather have pictures that mean something to me! It shouldn’t be slow for anyone, because they’re coming from my Flickr account.
An even bigger bonus? The photos will be different everytime you visit! (Unless you visit more than 10 times a day, then you may get a couple of repeats). So I wont need to change my layout regularly.
Once again, a big thank you to Claudia, as without her I could not have the option to do this, because I can be layout-challenged at times and had no idea how to do this.
