Macro Monday: scrubby ducky

scrubby ducky

This is my duck scrubber. I picked him up last year at an expo, Girls Day Out, for free!!

He’s awesome, he works just like pumice and gives you soft, smooth skin.

Autumn

June 1st, 2008

Autumn is gone and I miss it already. Today, June 1st, is officially the first day of Winter and there is definitely a chill in the air.

Macro Monday: coffee

coffee hit

We used to buy powdered coffee but have now moved up in the world and buy the granule version. I have to admit it tastes so much better.

And have you ever tried to balance coffee on a teaspoon on a bench? Impossible! Hence the spillage. But I think the spillage makes it a bit more authentic.

In other news; someone googled “bronnie naked photos” and found my website. I’m very sorry to disappoint but there are no naked photos of me anywhere. Is there a famous Bronnie that I’m not aware of?

Macro Monday: red

red

Yes sorry, another nature macro shot. They just seem to be the best. Plus this one red leaf in a yellow-leaved tree looked awesome.

Macro Monday: jewel

jewel

Snapped in between rain showers, which is every two minutes in Auckland. I love the sparkly affect on the rain drop and the veins of the leaf. It looks like a little world inside the raindrop.
If only it snowed here and I could capture some snowflake photos.

autumn is here

While you’re* all out there excited, bouncing off the walls with joy that you get to wear skimpy clothing and bikini’s… think of poor lil’ ol’ me all rugged up, frozen and soaked through from the torrential rain we always seem to get in Auckland.

*Northern Hemisphere people. All my friends in NZ and across the ditch (Aussie) will be experiencing this wonderful Winter weather just like me.

Doubled my explore photos!

April 25th, 2008

Woohoo! I love it when I randomly check for my photos in explore and find another. It doesn’t happen for me often.

Doubled my explore photos!

A friend in England sent me this photo today, to prove there is blue sky, sunshine and greenery in England. It’s not the grey, wet, depressing weather we associate with England.

sunny England

This photo from him has convinced me I will survive there in Spring/Summer, but what about Winter?
